Fundraising

We encourage our students to ‘do the right thing’ and consider others who are less fortunate then themselves at all times. As a result of this, our fundraising comes in many different forms.

All students receive talks from local charities at the start of each academic year and learn about these to raise awareness (for example Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, Oldham Foodbank and The Mustard Tree).

In November, we collect  provisions for the Shoebox Appeal throughout the academy. We also work with OAFC to deliver Christmas Hampers and Easter Eggs for elderly residents in our local community. Red Nose Day, Comic Relief, Macmillan Coffee Morning are all constantly featured on our calendar.
