Royton and Crompton E-Act Academy believe in excellence. Our homework expectations support our students in gaining knowledge, becoming researchers and becoming independent learners. Research shows that high quality homework can provide students with an additional 5 months of progress per year in secondary school.

How will we set homework?
Homework will be set for every subject in the classroom and will be a mix of online, and written work. Students will be reminded about homework while in lessons and will be expected to write the homework in their planners.
We use a range of online platforms through like Microsoft teams, SENCA, Sparx, Massolit and others. These platforms are carefully selected to provide high quality educational content that will support our knowledge rich curriculum.
