Meet our headteacher
Welcome to E-ACT Royton and Crompton Academy
It is a great pleasure to welcome you to E-ACT Royton and Crompton Academy at such an exciting and innovative time in the Academy’s history.
I feel extremely privileged and honored to take on the position of Headteacher, at what is an exciting and rapidly changing time for the school.
In September 2019, we will move into a brand new, state of the art, multi-million pound complex that is almost nearing completion behind the existing school building.
Over the next two terms our biggest priority is to ensure that we provide the very best educational experiences for all our students; allowing everyone access to a curriculum and entitlements that they require in order to succeed in their chosen career pathways.
At Royton and Crompton Academy, we believe that every child can achieve and I am proud of our fully inclusive and caring ethos where we set high standards and expectations for all stakeholders whilst preserving the EACT values of:
- Thinking Big
- Embracing Team Spirit
- Doing the right thing
We aim for all our students to be happy, supported and challenged in a safe, high quality-learning environment by:
- Developing well-rounded individuals who can demonstrate resilience, determination and strength of character.
- Providing enrichment and increased opportunities to equip our learners with life long, employability skills.
- Developing an aspirational Academy to raise standards and expectations for all students to be the very best they can be.
Our academic standards continue to improve year on year and, at an exciting time for the Academy during this transitional phase, our aspirational goal is that E-ACT Royton and Crompton will become a hub of excellence in the local and wider community. This goal will be supported and encouraged through the improvements of the facilities that will be available in our new build, as well as through the continuous hard work and dedication that is exhibited in the Academy staff.
I look forward to all stakeholders being involved in developing the future of the Academy, and all are invited to make an appointment to come in and see our development and progress for themselves. With collaboration, determination and a positive ethos, I believe that we can ensure that EACT Royton and Crompton will become a beacon of Educational Excellence.
