OSFC visit

Year 10 students attended a taster day at Oldham Sixth Form College where they got to experience life as a student. They participated in 4 different lessons which gave them an insight into a number of subjects.

The students conducted themselves superbly and thoroughly enjoyed the day

As I said on the day, I thought your students were great and here are a couple of comments from teachers to back that up:

Chemistry: Just to let you know the students I had today were brilliant; perfect behaviour, engaged well happily asking questions and were all just really nice! I’d be delighted to have any of them in my classes.

Dance: The 6 students who took part in the Dance taster on Friday 28th June were fantastic. They engaged fully in the tasks set, demonstrated their creativity and were very supportive of each other – a true credit to your school. Wishing them all the best for the show at the end of the year!

Murder on Campus Summer School

Four of our year 10 students were fortunate enough to attend this 3 day experience at University of Bolton and thoroughly enjoyed every day. Again, the feedback from University staff was excellent

The girls who attended were all incredibly polite, engaged and friendly throughout the three days and were a real credit to their school!
